A native of Milton, Massachusetts, Attorney Robert F. Shea, Jr. is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA) and Northeastern University School of Law (Boston, MA).
Before launching his own government relations practice, Attorney Shea worked for a decade with New Britain-based Gaffney, Bennett & Associates, Connecticut’s largest government relations firm, and for a year for the Insurance Association of Connecticut. Prior to entering the government relations business, Attorney Shea practiced law full-time in Hartford. Attorney Shea is admitted to practice in Connecticut and before the U.S. District Court for Connecticut. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association. Attorney Shea is deeply committed to community service. He has volunteered to provide advice and guidance to several political campaigns throughout Connecticut. He is a volunteer director for Connecticut Families for Effective Autism Treatment (CFEAT), and he volunteers his time with other organizations that help children with disabilities. Attorney Shea lives in West Hartford, Connecticut, with his wife and two children.
